Botswana Butchery is looking for some new recruits to join our busy team:

 

  • Waitstaff & Runners – looking for waitstaff and runners to join the FOH team. You need to be enthusiastic, well presented, hard working and willing to learn.
  • Bar Manager / Sommelier – You must have proven experience, skills and knowledge as you will need to hit the ground running in this crucial and demanding role. Qualifications desirable.
  • Senior Bartenders

Senior Sous Chef

Aikmans - Chistchurch

Purpose of Role:

 

  • To help maintain overall control of the restaurant, in relation to all aspects of the kitchen and food operations.

 

  • Particular emphasis needs to be placed on quality and consistency of food being prepared, cooked and delivered to customers in each restaurant.

 

  • Maintaining tight cost control and delivering agreed margins is also critical.

 

  • With respect to Human Resources, recruitment & selection, training & development of kitchen staff at all levels.

 

  • It is expected the Senior Sous Chef will be hands on and do shifts in the kitchen and also provide cover for those on leave or for absenteeism.

 

  • Senior Sous Chef will certainly be responsible for the consistency of food placed across the pass at all times.

 

  • We want the Senior Sous Chef to live, breathe, eat and sleep this restaurant and help Senior Management take it to new levels.
